Go the extra mile
Don’t rely on proprietary display standards – Flickr, Facebook, and even Instagram, look a lot like today’s Kodachrome slides to me. Instead, liberate some of your best photographs from your smartphone, and “turn treasured memories into memorable treasures.”
Even in the age of instant gratification, getting photos developed is still a pretty magical thing, especially if you don’t settle for the mediocre print quality, you usually find at drugstores. I still get goosebumps sometimes, when a package from my photo-lab arrives, and I look at my photos, for the first time in a large print-format and stunning quality.
Great photo labs provide truly stunning print quality, an array of sizes, and use only professional-grade Kodak Endura Pro paper (in Luster or Metallic), all for a reasonable price.
Paper Types
Luster
Kodak Endura Professional Paper in Luster surface is great for traditional printing and produces vivid color and excellent flesh tones. This paper is a traditional favorite for wedding, portrait and commercial photographers.
Luster has a satin-like sheen and a modestly textured surface, which you can see when the light angle is just right. Luster prints offer the best of both worlds: the color saturation of glossy (without the glare associated with it) and the fingerprint resistance of matte.
Metallic
Kodak Endura Professional Paper in Metallic has a glossy finish and metallic appearance that creates images with exceptional visual interest and depth. Great for scenics, automotive or architectual photography where a high-contrast, metallic appearance is desirable. This paper uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers that result in striking, three-dimensional, lasting images on an ultra-bright background.
Stop the moment, observe, feel, capture.
Photographs are the slideshow of your life!
