American Graffiti, again.

Two years ago on a Thursday night, just after I had learned about the “Ramona American Graffiti Cruise Night”, I got the chance to take a couple of pictures. The pictures together with my thoughts can still be found here.

Cruise Night is still going strong and there is still “no talking trash about anyone’s ride.” This Thursday night, I finally had an hour with nothing else to do than shooting a couple of pics again at Ramona’s American Graffiti Cruise Night.

John Milner: I don’t like that surfin’ shit. Rock and roll’s been going downhill ever since Buddy Holly died.

You gotta love this. He’s still driving his Chevy with the “My 64” plate.

Curt Henderson: She spoke to me, she spoke to me right through the window. I think she said I love you…That means nothing to you people?…You have no romance, no soul?…Someone wants me. Someone roaming the streets wants me…Will you turn the corner?

I Like Ike

Curt Henderson: You’re the most beautiful, exciting thing I’ve ever seen in my life and I don’t know anything about you.

Bob Falfa: Hey, I’ve been lookin’ all over for ya, man. Didn’t nobody tell ya I was lookin’ for ya?

.. and yes, they got me good too.

Thank You!! Paul Wood, for capturing this.

Thank You!! Elizabeth Chavez, for this shot and for all you do for the Ramona American Graffiti Cruise!
